What Is The Twist & Turn Tavern in Highland?

There are apparently signs for a new Twist & Turn Tavern in Highland on Rte 108 near Rte 216.  Does anyone know the story?

This is near Boarman's Meat Market and Hidden Treasure Cafe.  John pointed out to me that Twist & Turn has a Facebook page updated a few times in the past six weeks.  It says "opening late May."  Is that true?

(Update: See the comment below that says they're opening on June 10 and should post their menu on May 28.)

I don't know anything other than having driven past it as well, but their website says they will open June 10, and the menu should be posted online tomorrow: http://www.twistandturntavern.com/

I walked in during construction last week and it looks nice so far. Interested to see what it will be like. Very strange having a bar in our tiny town..

Yes it will be open on June 10th and will be open for lunch as well. This is just what the area needed!

Went to the pre-opening last night - great ambiance, food, service. It's a great little restaurant

This is Twist & Turn Tavern's head host. The name Twist & Turn came from a ranch that the owner of Twist & Turn once owned. The owner Don is a local & owns the entire complex. There is a good variety of food. steaks, seafood, burgers,
quesadillas. Some of the stuff on the menu is probably going to come of once we figure out what sells.
After meeting the owner, the investors & their family I can tell I am going to like working there. We open Thursday June 10. Even though its a brand new place I have a good feeling about it. We have had alot of people pop their heads into the building & thank us for opening up there. So come join us on Thursday & see for yourself.

MG and I tried Twist & Turn out for lunch today. We really liked the theme decorations, very nicely done horse racing theme tied together through out and the tall glass shield between bar and main dining room tables will probably help wiht noise reduction when busy.

We had Maryland crab soup (too salty and no crab lumps but still tasty), crab cake (MG holds all crab cakes up to his AAA standard of G&M so he called this one only "adequate") and a grilled rueben sandwich with chips that was also "adequate" but nothing to write home about. Ruebens are my test food and I like them crunchy. This one had soggy bread and some sort of pale meat that was not pastrami which surprised me but was still tasty.

I don't mean to be damning with faint praise, we will go back and try other things. I'm looking forward to trying their Tuesday night burger special.

A management disaster- walked out after the table next to us waited over an hour and they brought 2 of 6 meals for the table. No sign of any management- just a bunch of kid waiters who were trying their best. We went to Coho grill and had great meal and with great service.

Food is terrible, had crab and artichoke for appeitzer. It turn out to be almost all cream cheese and no lump of crab or artichoke.
Burger taste so bland and the price is too high for the dinner. I would not come back unless with new chef or owner willing to serve honest meal.

Overpriced, loud, small draft beer selection, food average. Taking the last train to back to Clarksville to the river hill grille!!!
