Joe and Jen are celebrating their first Thanksgiving in the area, and they're looking for somewhere to eat on the holiday -- simple place, no need for turkey because Jen is allergic.
My first thought was Victoria Gastropub in Columbia. They're serving a special Thanksgiving menu -- limited items, but offering turkey, duck, and pasta entrees for $12-20 and all kinds of traditional sides. Anyone have any holiday experiences?
(Update: Victoria has posted its Thanksgiving menu, as noted by Randy Marriner's tweet.)

A few years ago we went to Turf Valley for Thanksgiving - my husband and I had both had foot/ankle/leg surgeries and neither could cook. I have to say, while their food at other times is so-so they did a super job for Thanksgiving. Tersiguel's also has a Thanksgiving dinner, have never been. Victoria's would be a good choice.
We've taken family to Clyde's for Thanksgiving dinner in the past. Enough business that, while not packed full, it allowed them to offer a menu with plenty of choices. Great food, great service, atmosphere, and a view of the lake. Also, wherever you decide to go, please remember that your server is there at work, rather than with their family, and tip accordingly.
Alex - excellent point! Thanks for reminding folks!
We actually went to Victoria's for the first time last thankgiving. We had just moved down here a few weeks before, and it was close and seemed like a nice menu. We had family visiting and weren't prepared to fix a meal at home.
Everyone was so impressed with the food, that we actually came back the next day for lunch so our out-of-town guests could try the regular menu before they left. And it's been on our regular rotation ever since.
We are having guests in again for thanksgiving, and Victoria's has been chosen as the restaurant if we decide to go out to eat.
If interested in catering in, I recommend The Blacksauce Kitchen! (http://www.facebook.com/blacksaucekitchen)
They have the most amazing food - everything I've tried at their events (Highlandtown farmers market, BARCstoberfest, etc.) has been so flavorful. They have real talent! They're offering pickup and delivery for Thanksgiving!
Frank's Diner in Jessup always serves Turkey dinner for thanksgiving, complete with cornbread stuffing, collard greens, homemade mac& cheese, and tons of homemade cakes and other desserts. Last year the price for a complete dinner was $9.50. Not sure what the price is this year, but the food is great. They do close at 2pm on Thanksgiving day. Great Food>>>>>>
