Pudgies Opened Thursday In Clarksville

Pudgies Pizza and Subs opened Thursday in Clarksville, according to a comment from Rob.  This is a small New York and Pennsylvania chain.  Anyone been yet?

(Update: Hoco Rising has the first reviews -- pizza that he loved in college, described as garlicky and flavorful but not for people who demand a crisp crust.)

Got take out from there tonight (the Family Pack) and loved all of it. Great pizza and the wings were awesome - got them medium but next time I'll try the hot. Friendly staff too!

it was very good - so much better than the other offerings in clarksville (never have been a Ledo or Pizza hut fan). We tried a pizza & the spiedie salad (a marinated chicken). Next time, the wings & subs

Gah, I was just in that area last night. Hmm. There is always Sunday - a trip to the gym justifies a lot of things, like pizza at 11am. :D

Anyone notice if they offer a gluten free pie? My wife had GF from the Olney Mamma Lucia's yesterday, and it was far less than delicious.

It was pretty good, I'll go back. Unique pizza, with soft chewy dough lots of nicely seasoned sauce and very little cheese. I had a very good Italian sub as well. The price is low, the portions are generous and the service was good.

Just picked up take out from here tonight. We had the large pepperoni, dozen wings and the cheese calzone. Yummm. The pizza had a great crust, a balanced sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The Calzone was even better. Golden dough wrapped around ricotta and some other cheeses served with pizza sauce, it was delicious. The wings were good, although certainly had too much time in the fryer, they were tough and overcooked. We could tell how good they would have been had they been cooked properly. We ordered them Medium and we loved the sauce. The dining room looked nice and very family friendly. There is plenty of parking, not just in front but around the back of the building and there is a back entrance. Overall, a great first try, we will be going back:)

Heads-up, it is very easy to drive right by this place, it is tucked in the back of a shopping center that sits on its side. When I asked one of the owners/managers (Jim) about the location choice he was optimistic that once people try it, they will continue to come back for it. I think he is right. I am just glad they are around the corner from our house!

We got the chicken pizza and it's delicious! Their large has 12 good size slices, the crust was firm, not hard and not chewy, great flavor. We also got their garlicky bread sticks, very tasty. Their garden salad is on the sad side, mostly iceberg lettuce and not really worth the $5.95 One thing that really, really delighted us, being able to have pizza delivered to us in Highland! Yes they charge for delivery but it was worth it, they were here with our food in less than 30 mins on a Saturday night!

I was told the Pudgies in Clarksville has closed, but I don't know when. More than a week ago.
