Iceberry Coming To Rte 40 in Ellicott City?

When it rains frozen yogurt shops, it pours frozen yogurt shops.

An Iceberry franchise looks to be opening in Ellicott City in the Mars shopping center on Rte 40, according to a comment by Little Audrey.  Last spring, I was driving to Olney for this trendy frozen yogurt, but Howard County is now covered with yogurt.

Iceberry will sit right across Rte 40 from Tutti Fruitti.  And if those aren't convenient, you can hit up Yogiberry at the Columbia Mall or Mangoberry in Catonsville.  (I still love buying my own mochi at H Mart to really top that Mangoberry yogurt.)  Anyone know how Iceberry compares?

Don't forget Yogi's Castle just a little further west down Rt 40, by the Pizza Hut.

Are they all owned by same people? I can't imagine it makes business sense to open stores so close together.

I Love me some frozen yogurt but this is overkill!

And counting frozen treats in general, there's Rita's and Soft Stuff in the same vicinity. Woohoo! Bring on the coupon wars!

there is another shop called "pink beach yogurt" with a sign in bethany shopping center -- not sure if it's open yet

The new Clipper magazine has an ad for Pink Beach Yogurt & Cafe. They sound like a Tutti Frutti knockoff, with frozen yogurt by the ounce, cake, crepes, coffee and "Korean snow balls", whatever those are. And of course, coupons! It says they open July 30.

Iceberry has some awesome honeydew flavored yogurt. I prefer it over the alternatives. But Yogiberry has me on the original tart.

I am sticking with the original...
TUTTI FRUTTI FTW, just bunch of copy cats....

The Iceberry across the tutti frutti in Mars shopping center has just awesome tasting froyo.

Better than pink berry or any other froyo shops I've been to.

One warning. Their green tea doesn't taste anything like fake green tea flavor sold in the US. Tastes too much like japanese green tea.

Pink Beach is still not open. (btw Rainpia, a couple doors down, IS open) So we went to Yogi's Castle instead. A little more expensive than Iceberry and TF but they have a dozen or so flavors, mostly Western-style: chocolate, plain, vanilla, strawberry banana, dulce de leche, cake batter, cappucino, tart orange, peanut butter, others I don't remember. Same variety of toppings. The cake batter flavor was very good.

A banner on the new building across the street, between Arby's and Howard Bank, says a bakery/cafe called Bon Appetit is coming soon.

Tried the Iceberry today. Much like Tutti Frutti, but I don't remember if the TF had a "blend" option.

The Bon Appetit seems to have been under construction for some time.

Tried Iceberry today, I have to say Tutti Frutti is still my favorite. I remember when frozen yogurt was popular quite a few years ago, then it fizzed out. Wonder how long this incarnation will last. I do like the "tart" flavor.

Sadly, but not surprisingly, Iceberry is no more. The sign is still up, but the windows are papered over and workers are tearing the interior apart.
