What is Second Sunday? Who sells there? Just food? Does it run until October?
(Update: Jessie X heard about this from a post on Tales of Two Cities. Sounds great. Correction: This used to say "Saturday." Ignore that!!)
(Update #2: Click for information about the October 2009 Second Sunday.)

The Second "Sunday" Market takes place in the large parking lot in historic EC on the second Sunday mornings of the month. I've only driven past it once, but what I saw was vendors with fresh vegetables, food being cooked right there and live music.
I think it's a great idea. As someone who lives on Main, this could very well save me some trips elsewhere to get my groceries. I don't, however, know when this ends. Most farmers markets last into October at the latest, so I can't imagine it going for too much longer. I do intend to find out.
I found word of the market via @wordbones. http://writing-the-wrongs.blogspot.com/2009/08/second-sunday-market.html.

My massage therapist (well, previous massage therapist) will be running a German food truck with her relative there! They are emphasizing homemade, healthier versions of traditional German food.
I'm on the mailing list for the Second Sunday Market. It started in July. Here's the most recent email text:
"It's time for Second Sunday Market! We have been growing with each and every Market and are excited to be introducing additional local farmers including Rare Opportunity Farm; organic meats and eggs with Springfield Farms; more specialty grains and breads; a host of local crafters and vendors and special visits by Tersiguel's French Country Restaurant with exotic fruits, garden herbs and fresh Focaccia preparation and The Good Life Market's Randy Tamasacci with specialty sauces and cooking demonstration. There is something for everyone in this Market!
