reports Andrew Metcalf in the Columbia Patch. This is a branch of the Pratt Street Ale House in Baltimore. Andrew has some details about construction and hiring.

Made it to the preview today - here's a couple of initial thoughts:
1. The crabcake was amazing. No filler - all crab!
2. Nachos were carefully constructed and quite good, but heavy with jalapenos. You have to like some heat or pick them off.
3. Cookie skillet. It's a hot cookie in a little cast iron skillet with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. And it's even MORE awesome than that sounds.
4. Beers. Tried Draft Punk IPA, Bishops Breakfast Oatmeal Stout, and Irish Style Red Ale. All good. IPA was not the hoppiest, but still had nice flavor.
5. Seafood Cobb salad had a lot going on in one bowl. I like it! Crab, salmon and shrimp were plentiful.
6. Service was...green, but earnest. Our guy was maybe a bit tentative here and there. Kind of the point of a preview, though, to work out the jitters!
Looking forward to going back.
