Does anyone know if the Rita's in Jessup has closed? There is a new comment from bl86 saying that the store was closed Sunday and looked cleaned out.
I assume that this is the Rita's in the Columbia East shopping center with Mom's Organic Market and Pollo Fuego's Peruvian chicken. I'm a huge fan of Rita's black cherry ice, although we normally visit the ones in Columbia or Burtonsville.
i don't know for sure but i heard from a friend a couple of days ago that it was closed so it's not sounding good

ReplyDeleteThey had issues all season-- they opened late, if I remember correctly. That stinks, especially since that shopping center has opened so much new stuff lately, and undergone that facelift...
ReplyDeleteIts a shame the owner was never there he watched his employees on cameras from his home.They had some nice kids working there but they had no guidance and the service and selection was terrible.
ReplyDeleteI was speaking with the manager of the Starbuck's next door, she said they had been evicted (and picked up a few of the employees for her own!)
ReplyDeleteYou should go to the Rita's in Laurel. That location is Open Year Round. It also has indoor seating. It is on Rt. 198 in front of the Target.
