Petit Louis To Open Next With Charity Meals

Petit Louis -- the new Foreman-Wolf restaurant on the Columbia lakefront -- will open next week with a series of special lunches and dinners to raise money for charities.

Andrew Metcalfe has the full story in the Patch -- including menu items and talk of brunch.  The special meals will be January 28-31, then the restaurant will open for real in February.

  1. I just looked at the menu and it looks great; it's actually longer than the Baltimore location. But seriously, no Sweetbreads? That's my number 1 dish at the Baltimore location. I just had them a few weeks ago at the PL in Baltimore, prepared with Cauliflower and Hazelnuts, and they were amazing. Do they just not think they'll sell in Columbia? This really is my favorite PL dish.

  2. Anon - ASK them about sweetbreads. I think when a new food business opens up they don't always know for sure what their customers want. If enough people ask, they will have it.

  3. Just had dinner last night and it was delightful! We ate way more than we would have with the price fixed meal, since we normally would all have 3 courses. Service was lovely, can't wait to go back
