Check Out The New Mexican Menu At Xitomate

Check out the new menu for the Mexican restaurant that will replace the Donna's on Rte 108 in Columbia.  Lotsabogeys found Xitomate's Web site, and it has a pretty broad menu that generally runs under $10 for lunch and $13-20 for dinners with a bunch of interesting items.

Anybody know more about when it will open?  And the Web site suggests that they're planning a location for Ellicott City as well.

  1. I am looking forward to this one. If only they had brought Azul's tortilla soup with them.

  3. Per the website, it looks like they may be planning a second location (in Ellicott City) as well.

The menu looks amazing. I can't wait.

  5. I work in the building. From what I hear, the restaurant may be opening sometime later this week, but not sure.

  7. We had our soft opening this past Wednesday. All is going great so far and we will be adding lunch to our menu Tuesday! Make sure to stop by for a delicious margarita and some wonderful food.

  8. We were going to give them a try this past weekend (Jan19), their website (xitomate.com)has a nice-looking brunch menu for Sat/Sun. That day, however, they were not open for lunch, the workers there at the time said they would be open for dinner later in the day. That didn't fit our schedule but we'll try again in the future.
