ISO: A Brunch Caterer In Howard County

My friends need to hire a caterer for a baby naming.  They're thinking 75-100 people for the ceremony and brunch foods.  Anyone have a suggestion?

  1. I highly recommend Biddle Street caterer. They are located in Baltimore but will come to Howard Co. I've worked with Mike there and he is fabulous!!!!

  2. We used Charles Levine Catering for our wedding and were absolutely thrilled. Charles is a dream to work with! The other half of his business is kosher catering, so accommodating my dairy allergy was no trouble for him. The man is an absolute artist!

  3. Absolutely Perfect in Elkridge or the Elkridge Furnace Inn. We use them both for work events and they are great. I also used Absolutely Perfect for my wedding.

  4. I recommend Nathan Sowers of Pressed for Thyme. He's wonderful!

  5. Just used Goldberg's in Baltimore for a reception after a funeral. They delivered and the food was outstanding. Fish platters, bagels, etc. Lots of food!

  6. Biddle Street caterer in Baltimore prepared a terrific brunch for us, and also a lovely traditional Friday night dinner. We worked with Pam, who got it all right.

  7. Putting on the Ritz Catering in Laurel is the go-to caterer in Howard County. Great value, delicious food. I've had their food at probably 20 events over the past 3-4 years and it just gets better and better each time.

  9. The only caterer I would ever use is Barry Schwartz. Former owner of BJ Pumpernickels in Olney, he now works at Woodside Deli in Rockville. A bit far from Ho Co but totally worth it. He's done deli platters for us (with real turkey breast off the bird, not that digusting processed cold cut meat), bagel brunch for 150 people (fabulous white fish, white meat tuna and white meat chicken salads), Thanksgiving dinners, Jewish holiday dinners, etc. Tried Putting on the Ritz and did not even come close. Also had a tasting at Zeffert and Gold and the food was awful.
