Mutiny Pirate Bar Coming To Downtown E.C.

Mutiny Pirate Bar appears to be opening its second location in downtown Ellicott City.

There is a sign up in a building next to the Diamondback Tavern, reports George.  Mutiny is a rum bar in Glen Burnie that George says has good food and drinks from the people behind Iron Bridge Wine Co.

Does anyone know the timing?  George's photo seems to show "Summer 2015."

I'm really behind on all the tips that people have sent me.  Regular readers know the reason, but I hope that we're getting our feet underneath ourselves enough that I can post more.

  1. Went to the original mutiny a couple months ago with friends. We all really enjoyed the rum and atmosphere, but I wouldn't call the food anything special. Burgers and sandwiches. Well done but nothing new.

  5. I also hear that part of that building will be a Joe Squared Pizza establishment. It's the old Taylor's Antiques building.

  6. The drinks at the original Mutiny are fine, but the food quality dropped off to the point where we refuse to go back and we went there fairly regularly for the past two summers. The last time there in the Fall, the food was almost inedible. It's a shame, because the staff is friendly and quick, but the kitchen is sorely lacking.

  7. So much for fine dining additions to Main Street in Ellicott City. Downtown is doomed to be a weekend tourist trap only. I wish they would follow Frederick's lead and actually cater to the locals with quality shops and excellent restaurants.

  8. I'm guessing this is the end of HowChow.
