The Second Chance Saloon looks like it will stay in business with a new lease for its home in the Oakland Mills village center.
That report by Luke Lavoie in the Sun is just one of the local food items to know about. I also stumbled across the City Paper's nod towards the Judge's Bench in Ellicott City -- good scotch, a spin through the vegan bar menu by Athena Towery. And Lee emailed me about a Fat Tuesday event tomorrow at Portalli's also on Main Street in Ellicott City.
They're doing a New Orleans themed menu with oysters, gumbo, red drum, jambalaya and more. Check out their Facebook page for more -- including menu of the Cannon Brass Band that will be playing.
