Is There New Indian Coming To Maple Lawn?

Has anyone heard about a new Indian restaurant coming to Maple Lawn in Fulton?

There is talk that an Indian place might be looking to build in the undeveloped area just off Johns Hopkins Road near the bank and the medical building.  The talk was that it's a branch of an Indian place from Baltimore.  But you know there is more talk than building.

    As a Maple Lawn resident I look forward to the day when we can have two Indian restaurants and four banks within a quarter mile of each other. I don't know if Bangalore has that type of convenience.

    BTW, the current Indian Restaurant (Tandoor Grill) on Johns Hopkins is the best Indian food I've had in a while- even better than DC's Heritage India. If you like spicy (authentic, sweat inducing spice) try the Chili Naan. Tandoor Grill is the only place I've ever seen it.

    Royal Taj has become our go to Indian place. I'll have to try Tandoor Grill sometime.
