Tropical Smoothie Cafe has opened in Columia next to the Baja Fresh on Dobbin Road, according to a post by Mark on the HowChow Facebook page. He says all smoothies will be 99 cents Friday and Saturday. Apparently, it's a chain that he had tried in the Outer Banks. (Update: Check out Columbia Patch for a $1 off coupon.)
If you're checking the Facebook page, also note comments by Wes and Matt about a new item at R& Taqueria called the "R&R" taco. Beef cooked with orange juice and spices.
And finally, today's Groupon is $20 of food for $10 at Roma's Pizza & Subs in Columbia. I haven't eaten there, but it is a chance to check the place out.
We get pizza from Roma's all the time and we do love it.
ReplyDeleteRoma's on Phelps Luck has the best pizza and wings. Their pizza is half off on Mondays and their wings are larger than normal. It's a carry out place but they do have a few tables inside. They also have Coke in the glass bottles that is made with sugar instead of the typical high fructose corn syrup.
ReplyDeleteThe groupon is only for the Phelps Luck location, not the Shaker Drive location. We order often from Shaker Drive and LOVE Roma's. Their entrees are enough to feed 2 people plus seconds. Their pizza is great and, as Kristi said, their wings are large and meaty. Quesadillas, shrimp salad, huge burgers, gyros...it's all good!
ReplyDeleteI love Roma's! I live close by and the staff are friendly. Pizza is terrific. My son loves the wings. Wish the Groupon was for the Shaker Drive location though.
