Sneak Peak of The New Frisco Grill On BBG Blog

The new Frisco Tap Room will be even-cooler than I expected.

The Baltimore Beer Guy posted a nine-minute video with an interview of Frisco's owner Adam and tour of the new Columbia restaurant -- 50-tap bar, pizza oven, on-site brewery, 21-foot community table, private dining room . . . .  It's still under-construction, but the latest word is that they'll open in early December.  Check out the video.

  1. The video doesn't say where it is!

Wasn't a huge fan of the current incarnation, mainly due to the setup. This looks interesting and definitely worth a try.

  2. Robert,

I'm not sure if its the official address but the building itself (shared with Batteries Plus) is:

    6695 Dobbin Road

Its down Dobbin Road, almost all the way to Oakland Mills Road, about a two minute drive from the current Frisco Grille.

  3. Beer to the right. Tequila (Azul 17) to the left. Downtown Columbia becomes even more real. #dobbinrdiswhereitsat

  4. I'm so over the crazy-hopped beers trend...

But this looks great. Looking forward to it! And hopefully they won't get rid of the fajita sandwich... yum.

  5. I'm all for growth and evolution, and will always welcome more tap beer, but I also hope they don't totally abandon the relatively simple, but incredibly flavorful 'Mexican' food that first made them "Frisco Burrito". They have been a staple in our house since they first opened, and would hate to see them erase their history!

  6. I agree.

For what its worth I don't see the burritos disappearing. Hopefully most of the menu sticks around, from the Adam Bowl to the corn dusted chicken sandwich to the BBQ chicken tacos which are so simple yet ridiculously good.

  7. I agree with some of the posters -- don't get rid of the Mexican! I really like the ales, but I also love the bean tacos.

  8. Last call for the current Frisco's location Sunday night, 11/28/2010, according to our server at Friday, 11/26, lunch. New location is supposed to open next weekend. However, restaurant moves always seem to take longer than planned.
