No Breakfast At Bon Fresco

For a while, Bon Fresco had talked about opening for breakfast, but a comment from Momteachs says that they're saying now that breakfast did not work out.  It is still one of my Top 10 places -- so check it out for sandwiches, soups or takeout bread.  Click here for all the Bon Fresco posts.

  1. I went to Tutti Frutti last night to see what the fuss is about. I loved it. The TARO yogurt is so good. Tastes like the bubble tea version. Thanks for the reviews, keep on blogging howchow! My friends are followers.

  2. Bon Fresco is a bit overrated. I thought it was ok. The fresh ciabatta reminds me of fresh sourdough which I loved but the rest was not memorable. I will definitley try the #12 roll the next time we go to Sushi Sono!

  3. Anita,

What did you try at Bon Fresco? Some of their sandwiches are better than others (although I've been more than satisfied with anything I've ever had there). Maybe I'm just in love with their Ciabbatta, which I find incredible for sandwiches. Anyway, my favorite sandwiches include the London Broil and the Capri. Perfect sandwiches, both.

  4. Would you all stop talking about this place~! Come on - every time you blog, the line gets longer! Please, please, stop talking about it. this place is FANTASTIC! and I hate waiting in line.

Just kidding - this place is great & wonderful addition to HoCo. Keep up the talk, we need more yummy places.

BTW - the Capri is my family's fave!

  5. I had a grilled chicken platter of some sort with couscous, salad with NO vinaigrette(I went and reread the menu to make sure it wasn't my mistake, it was stated in the menu). My coworker who I convinced to go with me, ordered a sandwich and did not get something that was supposed to come with this order. I understand they were busy. The food was ok, nothing to die for. I told my bf to give it a try(didn't give him my opinion yet so he could be unbiased) he was not impressed either.

  6. @nd for overrated. It's amazing the sheep in Columbia that flock to average places. You guys might actually die if you ever made it to a real sandwich place..

  7. Ah flame-bait, wouldn't be the internet without it.

Seriously though, I think Bon Fresco makes the best sandwich in Howard County, especially since Bun Penny and Vie de France closed.

So...where is a "real" sandwich place in the area?

  8. When you're blogging about "the no 12 roll" at sushi sono, It's safe to say you have run out of ideas.

  11. Just to be clear everyone, bmorecupcake is joking. That's a real person who comments on a bunch of food Web site. I didn't get it on first read, but joking -- or even teasing -- from a real reader is welcome!
