In a New York City drug store last month, I saw a display of this branch of chips. I love "salt and pepper" chips so I picked them up. The bag says they're cooked by somehow popping, not frying. They were pretty good, although I don't remember how much I paid for them.
Has anyone seen these anywhere nearby?
(Update: Hilarious. What I thought were "exotic" NYC chips turn out to be available all over Howard County. An entire bag of comments below tell you where to buy them. Plus, the company that sells them found my post in a matter of hours and commented below as well!)
I've bought some very similar pop chips at Trader Joe's, and since they buy directly from a manufacturer, it's possible it's the same product! It's been awhile since I got them, though, so it's possible they don't still have them. They had 2 flavors: salt (or salt&pepper, can't be sure), and barbecue.
ReplyDeleteThe Costco in Elkridge has them.
ReplyDeletei think ive seen them at davids natural market!
ReplyDeleteThey sell them at the Target's in Ellicott City and Columbia. Although, as far as I know, they only sell Salt & Pepper and Original flavors...
ReplyDeleteI saw them the other day at the SoHo Marketplace (Food Court at National Press Bldg.) in DC. Not really close to Howard County, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure they're at David's.
ReplyDeleteI just saw them at Koko's Deli, 7185 Columbia Gateway Dr, Columbia, MD 21046.
ReplyDeleteSalt and Pepper chips are tasty!
ReplyDeleteWell, I admit that I only posted about the Pop Chips because I thought they were some cool NYC specialty. Turns out you can get them all over Howard County! Who knew? Someone should blog about the cool food that you buy in Howard County.
