You have to realize that a new restaurant is like a new car engine..it takes time to break it in. Quality of food was excellent (not very oily at all...and certainly less oily than at House of India). The service is still slow, but hope Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-61476330805655549892011-04-21T14:39:59.107-04:002011-04-21T14:39:59.107-04:00Flavors of India is an embrassment to Indian Cuisi...Flavors of India is an embrassment to Indian Cuisine. From the tasteless, oily food the indifferent staff and the obnoxious manager. There are plenty of good Indian restaurants in Columbia so I would steer clear of this one.
SabrinaUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12707255412468984869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-40916476694040800042011-04-15T10:11:14.275-04:002011-04-15T10:11:14.275-04:00I went their last night, the food was good, the ambi...I went their last night, the food was good, the ambience was nice, the service was good but slow and little disorganised for the first day,the portions were small(please give larger portions) for the price.I will go there agaain in a week and see if it will improve.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-46380043176409585702011-04-08T11:07:09.221-04:002011-04-08T11:07:09.221-04:00Found 10% off coupons online: http://couponclipper...Found 10% off coupons online: http://couponclipper.com/loc/FLAVORS-OF-INDIALisaYnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-30451781053197563382011-04-06T21:52:40.373-04:002011-04-06T21:52:40.373-04:00I gave them a call based on their magazine ad in S...I gave them a call based on their magazine ad in Smart Shopper and they said they are opening next week.
SueAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-67111325453857244792011-03-27T15:46:22.455-04:002011-03-27T15:46:22.455-04:00I went by there today. Mango Grove has great southern Indian food, but I'm curious what meat dishes from that region are like.

My favorite Indian restaurant in Columbia is Royal Taj. I find the manager quite friendly and eager to see people. The food is excellent as well.dzoeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18337244607409694673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-40496342338603773342011-01-31T15:08:31.320-05:002011-01-31T15:08:31.320-05:00If they have less oily food than House of India, l...If they have less oily food than House of India, less surly staff than Akbar, less overbearing manager than Royal Taj, and quicker service than Mango Grove,.......They should do very well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-79439762956653122722011-01-31T13:12:42.931-05:002011-01-31T13:12:42.931-05:00That's true, a counter-service-type operation ...That's true, a counter-service-type operation like Spicy Garden in Catonsville, would be nice.little audreynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-40932902333820063132011-01-31T09:36:24.417-05:002011-01-31T09:36:24.417-05:00Just what the area needs, yet another Indian resta...Just what the area needs, yet another Indian restaurant. Is there really enough demand for Royal Taj, Mango Grove/Mirchi Wok, House of India, Akbar and another restaurant? It seems pretty silly unless someone would finally think outside of the box. What the area could really use is a quick, Chipotle style quick service Indian restaurant. Please, do something different, no the same old lunch Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
