Rental apts combined with retail spaces are a bit of a throwback, and should make it a bit more interesting. Development and modernization are not synonymous with progress, and a bland, generic retail cluster will have no character, no history, and no appeal. I was hoping Soft Stuff would survive the change and am very disappointed to hear that this is not the case.
