Not sure what happened with Johnny Anonymous, but I hate posts without all information disclosed. Give us the story.. Would love to hear it. Obviously something happened to make you so jaded. I've never been called names over complaining about a certain dish not being up to par. The oysters are awful, the service is average (no refills on water, too little bread & butter), the acoustics are terrible, the beef is pretty good, but not at that price. Stay away, or be careful of your complaints if you don't want to be called awful names.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-20914166035031373142009-09-18T12:56:04.802-04:002009-09-18T12:56:04.802-04:00I have to echo Rob's comment about the quality...I have to echo Rob's comment about the quality of beef being offered at the new Maple Lawn Steakhouse. This was always my biggest complaint with Jordan's especially for the price they were charging.

While I still question Mr. Venegas'opening of a competeting restaurant to Ranazul (which I enjoy) I hope he chooses to go a high quality "prime" route for a Trip Klausnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-31446718958169781722009-09-13T08:43:17.654-04:002009-09-13T08:43:17.654-04:00Let me just suggest that anyone thinking of openin...Let me just suggest that anyone thinking of opening a steakhouse in Maryland should look to Seattle's Metropolitan Grill for an example of how serious steak is done.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14803527987184145933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-8765265957253547202009-09-13T08:37:55.146-04:002009-09-13T08:37:55.146-04:00I assume the name says they will serve USDA Prime....I assume the name says they will serve USDA Prime. I wonder whether the failure of other steakhouses in the area have not been at least partially due to their less than serious treatment of beef. Folks who love a good steak look for the tell-tale signs of a restaurant's bona fides such as "USDA Prime," "dry-aged," or "wet-aged." Shy of going that route, there Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14803527987184145933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-15179560458579201212009-09-11T18:10:57.952-04:002009-09-11T18:10:57.952-04:00I absolutely love this blog--these restaurant sele...I absolutely love this blog--these restaurant selections are so delicious!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242128247197293599.post-39354748573846016062009-09-11T15:56:18.453-04:002009-09-11T15:56:18.453-04:00Word is that Venegas will be accepting Jordan'...Word is that Venegas will be accepting Jordan's gift certificates as well.

Great blog!Tom Coale (HCR)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03637571896291463784noreply@blogger.com
