The folks at Facci are talking about enclosing their current patio and building a second one around the side of the building, according to
a post on the BWFoodandDrink blog. The post has some details. It was from mid-January, but I missed it the first time around.
We just ate at Facci again on Saturday night and have to say that we were underwhelmed again. I keep reading good things and expect more but after this time, my third, I think we won't be returning. We didn't think any of the food was very flavorful and the service could have been better as well.
ReplyDeleteParking at Montpelier Center where Facci's and Kloby's are both located are already terrible. Unless they expand their parking lot how many more restaurants seats can be added? I already avoid these restaurants at Happy Hour and evening weekends.
ReplyDeleteIt's possible to park across Montpelier Road, but I always worry about crossing the street in the dark. In the summer, it's not so much of an issue.
ReplyDeleteCould some sort of deal with Verizon be struck to get access to the parking behind the shopping center? I'm not sure if there's room for Verizon to create another lot or not, but if it's doable, that might be good to persue.

We tried Facci's for the first time based on reviews here, going for a weekend lunch (would hate to see that parking lot during dinner times!). We liked it, sharing a caesar salad with cheese shavings, a pizza with fennel sausage and peppers, the gnocchi and some veggie sides. We took leftovers home for the next day. Not our favorite, though, was the garlic bread.
ReplyDeleteWe ate a Facci's yesterday afternoon and were told that Facci may be opening a new location in Ellicott city on Rt. 40.
ReplyDeleteI heard it will be on the Catonsville end of Route 40
